The Steamboat Artisans Market was founded in 1982 as a Co-operative of Steamboat artists. Now owned by Jan Lomas, the Steamboat Artisans Market has a wide variety of products from established Colorado artists and innovative new artists from around the state.

"A Unique Art and fine craft gallery featuring work from 150 Colorado Artists located in Steamboat Springs. Ski, Western, Native American, Wildlife antiques and collectables are a large part of our huge inventory. Art buffs and shoppers searching for distinctive souvenirs love this eclectic co-op, which showcases the works of dozens of local artisans. Items include: handcrafted leather purses, lamps, jewelry, pottery, toys, wool hats, and hand-turned wooden bowls."
