The Steamboat Arts & Crafts Gym offers classes and instruction to kids of all ages!!. The Steamboat Arts & Crafts Gym is able to offer the community a significant variety of programs, weekend workshops and even unique projects encompassing seasonal arts and crafts. We have a program for every age group including Preschool, After School, Home School, Summer Camps and more....

Th Steamboat Arts & Crafts Gym - A place for people to develop new friendships, feel good about who they are and what they have learned, and most importantly to have FUN!

We are affiliates of the Steamboat Springs Arts Council and provide assistance with the Routt County Youth Art Show and Art in the Park. Last year we also provided volunteer services and materials to the Boys and Girls Club of Steamboat Springs. Active in community art programs such as Sisters in Steamboat, The All Arts Festival, Parade of Trees, City of Steamboat Springs After School Programs and many more.

YAMPA VALLEY ART INSTITUTE The Steamboat Arts & Crafts Gym welcomes as its “sister” program the Yampa Valley Art Institute. The Yampa Valley Art Institute is a teaching facility devoted to facilitating fine art programs for Adults and Teens. Teachers or instructors are from the local area as well as regional and national artists. The Yampa Valley Art Institute is devoted to providing high quality art instruction in all mediums including but not limited to all levels of ceramics, including pottery wheel instruction, hand-building pottery, raku and more. The Yampa Valley Art Institute also provides instruction, classes and weekend workshops for all mediums of painting, drawing, photography, jewelry, and special art workshops. Some of our special art workshops include doll making, batik and scrapbooking. Our goal is to provide an instructor or artist with students - to host a creative learning experience for everyone. Classes and weekend workshops are for all skill levels.
