DONTTREADONME 4 years ago on Officials think 'Clean Air' bill will hurt jobs

One thing no one has mentioned here is the cost of your Utillities are going to increase. They want clean air on the eastern slope they need to look at the real proble wich is not mentioned in the bill either is the amount of vehichles that are emetting 10 times more gases than the power plants emit what this bill boils down to is money just follow it and you will find who is going to profit and it is not the western slope

DONTTREADONME 4 years ago on Clean Air measure could reduce coal mining jobs

I have spent the last two Hours calling all state Senators wich will (tommorow) have A second reading of the bill 1365 WICH has not yet passed so we need too keep calling. Cindylou You hit the nail on the head dead center. If we want something done we have to do it our selves. To who asked what the Commissioners can do I have the video from Sheriff Macks seminar in Montrose last weekend wich goes into detail about the powers of Commissioners and the power the Sheriff has if you want to see it be at the Taxed Enough Already meeting on Wed. night at Serendipities

DONTTREADONME 4 years ago on John Williams: Consequences of actions

Mr McGrubber, you seem like an intelegent person, If you give a man a fish he will eat for a day, if you teach a man to fish he will eat for a life time!!! When the federal Gov. comes to me and says you will buy this or else is the same as me going to you and saying you will buy my product, or else. how do you respond to me. You stated we live in a Constitutional Republic, were is it Constitutional for the gov. to force a product down yours or my throat just because they say so. MSNBC is doing a poll on the passage of this bill. Just read some of the comments. If you had a business and it was not making money would you want the tax Payers to bail you out or would you find a way to make it or close the doors? I work for a living I support my Family not the gov. My parents taught me how to fish.

P51, I read all your smart mouth comments about the Tea Parties. I don't think you even kknow why they were created. If you do and don't like what the Parties stand for, maybe you should backup move to Washington & live with the ones that are createing high taxes, no health care, shutting down our way of live & taking our lively hoods away. These Parties were created to protect ourselves from people like you. You want to live off the government & have them take care of you, then move closer to your "buddies" in the White House.

DONTTREADONME 4 years, 1 month ago on Commission discusses legislation, coal industry

This is nothing but a slap in the face of all consumers, If this story has not opened any eyes it should because the main consumers that are going to be affected are us, with every thing we consume from the the food you eat to the tv you watch. for those that dont know we recieve about 30% of our electricity comes from Excel, like Tom said it is Ecel who is going to prosper from this bill no one else. If you dont want the increases coming if this passes you need to start calling EVERY State representive in Denver now, we need to stop this before it gets started!

Sage_Sam and Vermillion, You 2 are missing the point tami was making with that statement, The goverment was not in your life the the way they are now, Families took care of them selves and did not need the Gov. taking care of them, The people went to town hall meetings to voice their opinions and came to A mutual agreement of what wasbest for THEIR community not D.C. telling them what was best for them. Highway1340, If you dont know Tami how can you make the comment that she is so far right She wont listen to A Democrat. This is for all 3 of you if you have A question for Tami call we are in the phone book or if you dont have one the number is 824-6991, so please call. As far as how Right she is, Limited Gov., Limited spending, Limited TAXES, If you take an Oath to Protect the USA against foriegn or domestic enimies and uphold the Constitution THATS what it means. She will listen too ANYONE Rep.,Dem.,Ind., it doesnt matter.

DONTTREADONME 4 years, 12 months ago on Business beat: Help promote change in Moffat County

Bryce what your saying is true but we have to start at the top at this moment or we will not have a community to fix here is one example Bill to forbid gold mining in US HR 699 Posted April 6th, 2009 by galtgulch <<<" Mining Gold versus Buying Gold ( until the Gov. shuts it down)

It is clear that the bankers want to keep the debt based system in place and a threat to that system is for the people to be able to acquire real money in the form of gold. One way historically to do that was to go out and find your own gold. The Mining Law of 1872 and the Mineral Estate Grant of 1866 provides a vehicle for the average person to prospect for and stake a claim to mine gold. There is now a concerted effort by some in congress to undermine those laws. One can only conjecture if the real forces behind it are the bankers. The Rahall bill HR 699 currently working its way through congress would effectively shut down all small scale mining and eventually all large scale mining in the U. S. Here is a link to a discussion on the ICMJ forum about HR699 along with an excerpt. http://www.icmj.com/artic....

Rahall Proposes Bill to End All Mining in the U.S. by Scott Harn March 2009

Nick Rahall, chairman of the House Resources Committee, reintroduced mining reform legislation in the House of Representatives on January 27, 2009. The Congressman has obviously been away from real work for far too long. H.R. 699, the Hardrock Mining and Reclamation Act of 2009, should be labeled H.R. 666 because it appears to have been written by the Devil himself. If it passes as written, it will completely destroy an entire industry.

Here are a few "highlights" from H.R. 699:

Casual use would be redefined to allow only those activities that do not cause "any disturbance of public lands and resources "

Any Disturbance" ???????? If you walk on the land you cause disturbance. Here is a link to a discussion currently on-going on the Alaska Gold Forum.

http://bb.bbboy.net/alask...

As part of this discussion some mention is made that perhaps Hillary Clinton has somehow told the Chinese that U.S. public lands might be used as collateral for their bonds. Before that could happen the miners with claims would have to be evicted from their gold mining claims. The U.S. government has done similar things. When they decide that they want something they find a way to take it.

DONTTREADONME 4 years, 12 months ago on James R. Reiman: The Tea Party point

Niko let me start now infastructure tax on fuel is for this goes to a general fund and put were the gov sees fit not all to infastucture. Welfare 75% on welfare are there for life because they get payed to sit at home and do nothing but live off of the working class, I say if you get a welfare check you have to meet certaian criteria, drug test if failed no check for that month fail 2 drug tests no more checks period, take advantage of workforce centers and find a job same as someone laid off. social security is bankrupt do to it was sitting there not doing anthing so gov started using it. earmarks pig oders, marsh mouse study in CA, STD's study in CA thats just a couple out of 8600 in the last bill, paying for someones mortgage because they got a loan they new they couldn't afford, I'm paying mine because Istayed within my means. spending money we dont have just this last week $1,000,000,000 to Pakistan and the list keeps growing. If the Gov would stop the unnecisary spending just to pay back their large campaign contributors that they promised favors for we would not be where were at now. As far as Iraq yes it was needed at first but not now and that was thing that got obama ellected was the pull out but now he is sending more troops over there for what. I hope i answered your ?'s. The bailouts may have been needed but maybe not its to late to know now. if you study History ( you'll have to get a history book from the 70's or 80's ) read about Stalin, Hitler or even Mong and tell us there are no semaliarities between now and then. the same economical problems, unemployment and even CHANGE and look what happened!!! That is why I started the TEA PARTY in Craig. Our Veterans DEAD, CRIPPLED, Even CONFUSED DID NOT SERVE THIS GREAT COUNTRY TO WATCH IT FALL IN THIS MANNER.
