or you could just park legally!
Another spotlight on a golfer? Is this the only sport that goes on in Craig in the summer? What about the swim team, or motorcross racers, or shooting sports? I guess thats not near as fun as getting paied to play golf.
Just the facts, I think you need to recheck these said facts! First this award was given on a Saturday, not during school hours so there was no sub covering her class room. Next, Mrs. Conroy is an excellent teacher who more than deserves this award. I have seen her interact with students and she is amazing. Also many teachers in this district live in Steamboat and commute to Craig, they have been for years (I guess it’s not so bad here after all.) While yes Sandrock is not the highest scoring school, it is also the newest and has some amazing teachers. So Just the facts, maybe you should spend less time complaining to a computer and more time getting involved. Go visit a school, volunteer in a classroom get to know these teachers you are talking about!
I am very excited to see the show, I’m sure it will be amazing! Break a leg actors!!
A rec center would have more to offer than just a pool. Many people from Craig, Steamboat and the surrounding areas drive to Meeker to use their Rec center, so yes many people would drive to Craig if we had one.
This pool was used by a small group of people, a rec center would be used by many more. It is also the kind of thing that brings people to the town.
Non-profit or not this pool is old and expensive to maintain. They people who use it do pay quite a bit to do so. If the prices would be raised then many of them would not be able to afford it. Without them they would just be right back to where they are now. It’s very sad to see it go; the people who use it really relay on it to keep active and healthy. I hope this town will someday realize what an amazing resource a rec center is to a town.
