"multiple black eyes the police department has suffered"
It didn't really have much inpact in my opinion. It seems like people were overserved so there was not much regulation and I saw plenty of people with flasks and bottles that made it past the gates. Instead of these people enjoying beer, they were fueled on liquor.
Could it be that the city perpetuates the problem by plowing snow back on to freshly shoveled sidewalks?
Through all this debating and committee forming has anyone thought about asking the local deer population what their opinion is? We should truly have all sides represented in such an important issue.
I really like those vollyball shorts
Large corporations have no problem taking money from American citizens with inflated prices while rewarding their executives with multi-million dollar bonuses. We should be able to take a little back.
As far as your relatives not wanting to spend and extra $5 to visit then that may point so some other problem.
I'm pretty sure it's "voila`"
I'm also pretty sure most of this tax will be paid by business travelers working for fairly large companies in the pipeline and oil/gas industry. We should get as much of those dollars as we can.
I've served more time for a lesser crime without being in a position of trust and authority. This really is a moment of shame for the local court system and DA's office and certainly will set a precident. I would have loved to get off the hook this easily but I guess a badge gets people very special privileges. Even if it is tarnished.
When the few and the priviledged control the wealth, economy and the politicians to the detriment of the working class it it called communism, not capitalism.
I'm just surprised that there are so many people that actually believe there is a "god". Haven't we grown and intelectually evolved enough as a society to realize that there is nothing more to life than what we see around us every day. No heaven, no hell. Just earth. We should live as though everyone were our friends and family and enjoy it while we are here.
