Nice letter, but all costs for response to his burn should be covered by Mr. Gray. Why should our tax dollars go to cover costs for the arrogance and thoughtlessness of one of our county "leaders"? As tight as budgets are he should pay.

I believe the point of this is that congress has to do SOMETHING rather than what they've been doing for so long now to improve the economy. I'd rather take a chance on something being tried than wait for these nincompoops to decide that "the economy will improve on its own." as they sit back with their fat wallets and watch the middle class dissolve under the weight of paying for the way for the elites.

Getting this settled is in the best interests of the citizens of the city and Moffat County. The county commissioners have made a fair offer here. Time for the city council to agree.

Both the county commissioners and the city council members are behaving childishly. It's time for all of them to put on their grown up clothes and get this dispute resolved. At the rate they are going now the real losers will be the taxpayers who will be footing the bill for yet another building and for unused space in the safety center. How can this have gotten to this point? Have all of these elected officials forgotten who they are supposed to represent? Get over yourselves and solve this. Splitting the difference seems as good a solution as can be hoped for -- and much better than stalemate and gridlock because no one is willing to give an inch. If this is not resolved without the need to build another building I can safely say that NONE OF YOU REPRESENT ME OR MY INTERESTS!

I agree with your editorial. The only way a representative democracy works is for the people to take responsibility for making sure their views are represented. Talk to your representatives and if they don't represent you vote them out.

Upgrading the facilities will increase the opportunity for better healthcare. The real test is in the people who are providing healthcare. If Craig is able to recruit and retain top notch providers with the upgraded facilities healthcare will improve. We already have some top notch talent here. We've increased our chances of being able to retain them.
