On June 8, the Moffat County Sheriff’s Office’s 26th annual High School Scholarship Golf Tournament was held and all had a great time.

Now, we have learned the week before it was passed by a unanimous vote of the commissioners (not the public) that we will have a “free clinic” for county employees.
I read with fascination the stories about Mr. Rummel and what he and some of his peers are proposing. It seems to me that he is asking just the opposite of what gun control advocates are asking for.
It is with great regret that I submit this letter of resignation as a board member of the Craig Rural Fire Protection District Board of Directors. In October 2005, when I accepted the position as a member of the Board of Directors, I had no idea how it would affect me personally and professionally.

The Moffat County commissioners are so out of this world if they think they are going to save money by opening their own medical clinic and that it won’t cost taxpayers a dime.

This letter is for Ms. Dahlberg, a most passionate and caring teacher. She taught discipline and respect, at the same time teaching children to have a dream, no matter what it is they want.
