Preview of Mauka, Hawaiian Bakery and Coffee Shop
Emanuel Quintero, a native of Oahu, Hawaii, is one of many family investors in the process of bringing an island fusion bakery and coffee shop to Craig. Mauka, which in Hawaiian means “toward the mountains,” will occupy the space left by Outdoor Connections, 34 E. Victory Way. The Quintero family hopes to open the business by April 1. In the above video Quintero provides a tour of the renovation thus far and explains some of the bakery’s unique community features.
